Application Scalability
Over the course of computer and application
evolution, the way we use computers to solve
problems has come full circle.
Early computers were big, expensive Mainframes
that 10s to 100s of uses shared computer power,
data, and applications via a dumb terminal on
their desktop. With the introduction of the
PC and the exponential growth in compute power
it offered users many applications migrated
to a windows desktop environment to take advantage
of the speed and flex ability that PCs offered
Today that trend is reversing - in-expensive
servers and more centralized data access provide
a model that is more secure and more controllable
for remote users and business owners alike.
